Show Committee
A Show Committee plays a key role in organizing, overseeing, and maintaining the integrity of SCNA-sanctioned shows. Chaired by the Show Secretary, the committee is responsible for the following:
Reviewing and Discussing Show Matters: The committee evaluates all aspects related to SCNA-sanctioned shows, including planning, coordination, and adherence to rules and standards.
Show Reports and Points Tracking: It reviews official show reports and verifies the accuracy of point allocations to participants, ensuring proper documentation and fairness.
Document Audits: The committee conducts audits on all show-related documents to ensure compliance, transparency, and proper record-keeping.
Award Coordination: Each year, the committee is responsible for ordering and mailing out annual club awards, recognizing member achievements based on show performance and point standings.
Overall, the Show Committee ensures that all shows are run professionally, points and records are accurately maintained, and members are appropriately recognized for their accomplishments.
