Overview of Committees

The SCNA will have several running committees throughout the year. Some committees are required to be chaired by specific positions. 

• The Chairman of the SCNA must be a part of all committees as an ex-officio, non voting member. 
• The Vice Chairman shall be the chair of the Ways and Means committee. 
• The District Chair may chair the membership committee
• The Show Secretary chairs the show committee
• The Webmaster chairs the technical committee

Other appointments:

• Any judge may be the chair of the Judges Standards and Licensing committee to be appointed by the SCNA Chairman. 
• The chair of each committee chooses their own committee which needs to be approved by the Governing Council. 
• “Special” committees may be formed to handle temporary situations, such as a grievance committee or a project that may need a special team for.
